Almost willingly; recklessly may be,

you give away bits of you.

Vain and conceited

you beam in pride

as part by part, you’re ripped apart…

Yet! In your vain pursuit,

you fail to intuit.

When your compassion should’ve left you,

with nothing but more;

you keep getting futile and poor.
